Emergency Response and Complete Documented Cleanup of PCB Areas

Clean Harbors can provide emergency response for PCB spills as well as total reclassification of PCB areas.

30P Remediation of PCB Areas

As an alternative to a “total” cleanup, Clean Harbors can perform a cleanup in conjunction with Section 30P of the federal PCB regulations.  This option entails a double wash of the area and a double epoxy coating of the concrete, allowing the generator to maintain compliance with a minimum of cost and downtime.

Concrete and Soil Removal

Clean Harbors can provide small-scale concrete chipping (within a confined atmosphere) or large-scale concrete or soil removal.  Since we own landfills and incinerators, all waste can remain in-house for ultimate disposal.

Tank and Equipment Cleaning

Tanks of any size can be cleaned of PCB contamination via power washing, flushing or white blasting.  Equipment for reuse can be hand cleaned or dipped utilizing the most advanced treatment methods and available cleaning products.  Equipment is unharmed and in ideal shape for continued use.

We utilize our own certified PCB laboratory services to verify clean PCB status where required.
