Luggers

Purpose of Luggers

Single piece metal units used for storage and transport of solid wastes
Ideal for small quantities
Their small size and unique design make it easy to place into tight spots in refineries and manufacturing facilities
Liners and rain caps are provided for each container

Benefits of Luggers

One to four luggers can be transported per trip. A lugger truck is used for a single lugger, but can haul up to three additional luggers by pulling a flat bed behind the lugger truck
Used to segregate different waste streams into separate luggers and transport in a single trip, therefore saving transportation costs

Transportation of Luggers

Transported using a specially designed Lugger Truck. If more than one lugger is being transported at one time a flat bed can be connected to the back of the lugger truck which can carry in total up to four luggers
Most Clean Harbors Canada locations have the capability to transport luggers

Availability of Luggers

Standard sizes are 7 ½, 10, and 12 yard
For specific applications, 4 yard luggers are available, which are much taller than the standard size lugger
Closed top luggers available upon request
Luggers are available at most Clean Harbors locations throughout Canada. Luggers are not available in the U.S.
